Yedikuğular Bird Sanctuary (Yedikır Dam Lake)

More than one hundred bird species including ruddy shelduk, white pelican, teal duck, mallard and great black-headed gull live at Yedikuğular Bird Sanctuary (Yedikuğular Kuş Cenneti), which became a resting place for many birds.

It is particularly notable for being one of two breeding sites of white pelicans in Türkiye.

Furthermore rudds, carps and horned pike fish live in the lake. The lake is one of the rare lakes suitable for fishing in the Black Sea region.
